Students will have access to physical therapy services on an as needed basis during the Intensive. These services are available at no cost to participants. Unlike some states, California does not require a referral for physical therapy from a licensed medical professional prior to treatment. However, Backhausdance requires a completed “Informed Consent and Waiver” and "Acknowledgement of Direct PT Services" form prior to providing physical therapy services (see attached file). In order to sign up for services, a student must have a signed consent form on file. If a student is interested in scheduling a physical therapy session, they should contact the BD Student Liaison. Clinic hours are limited and vary week-to-week. Space is limited and will be prioritized based on severity of injury.
